I was walking this morning and I can feel the seasons shift from the depths of Winter to the hint of Spring. The sky seemed bluer, the birds more prevalent and a gentle warmer breeze in the air. The Seasonal change is a time of renewal and shifting into different energies. Soon our plates will be filled with lighter foods rather than the thicker soups and stews of Winter. Maybe even without realizing our bodies make this subconscious shift.

We are in essence, cyclic beings of nature, nature is not separate from us, we ARE Nature. The Planets also move in cycles, shifting the celestial energies above us which filter down into our energetic light bodies, for without energy we are nothing. Change is in the air via our Seasons and also by the Historical five planets migrating back and forward of the 0o and 1o points in Aries, Gemini and Aquarius activating new beginnings for all.

Retrograding Planets are periods of slowness and retreating over the same degree points that they have already passed. Currently We have four retrograding planets in our skies in Fire signs Aries and Leo. You may feel as if someone has blown your flame out and lacking some serious mojo. Fire signs are actionable signs that normally urge us into action except when they’re in retrograde - its all about a life review of the how, what and why you want to move forward.

Why do we constantly need to keep moving forward- Because our our Solar System is in constant motion and just like the Earth shifting we came here to grow, change, learn and evolve. If nothing ever changed how would we even be able to read this blog on our phones?

Strong desires and an impulsiveness may be burning within you but in retrograde periods, its like turning the heat down on the stove and letting the brew simmer maybe tweaking that brew with new flavors so the outcome is actually better. This particular Retrograde in Aries is a tempered patience to cultivate your desires to manifestation with planning, structure and without any sense of illusion or delusion. So if you feel stuck, its exactly where you are meant to be, but like the pot that has been turned down, its still brewing away.

Alongside these Retrogrades we have a Full Moon in Aquarius opposite the Sun in Leo. This is authenticity, heart led individuality, community/friends that fuel your heart and soul rather than drain you. Aquarius is about freedom and not following the crowd. This is heart felt kindness and compassion to others. This Moon is illuminating parts of you that dare to follow your heart to be different. Mercury almost out of Retrograde in Leo may have us speaking our truth, louder and braver. Decisions may be clearer around what is a more aligned choice or path.

A Grand Air Trine of harmony between Mars in Libra, Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius are giving us the mental clarity and thought processes to release all that is out of balance within our lives and others for a fresh beginning. What is not in harmony within us will be illuminated as irritability, injuries/accidents, a feeling of ill at ease, or perhaps a deep sense of where you are not getting a fair deal. Mars making an opposition to Saturn from the 8th - 10th August will either give us some irritability and inflammatory situations/feelings or the mental clarity to look deeper within to see what is repeating over and over again that is not aligned with love and harmony. The aspects to metamorphic, transformative Pluto are soooooo harmonious for Release work under this full Moon.

Why am I harping on about this so much - if we keep holding onto baggage and unhappiness within us and around is, it is impossible to move forward with the divinely, benefic energies also available to us. It's simply the law of attraction. Venus and Jupiter gift us their wildly abundant, fertile energies on the 9th-13th August. This is creative, loving Energy in Cancer, enhancing our homes, our loved ones, our family, our self care. It's a portal of Fertility - yes I mean babies as well!!! Don't say you weren't warned, Cancer also represents the Mother!!

The House of Cancer in your Natal chart will tell you what area this is lighting up your life. Mine is in my 7th House of Relationships and I have had the most beautiful week of catching up with close friends that make my heart sing. My weekend is being spent with a 55th Birthday with my gorgeous Fam - loved up to the max!!!!

This is the year of epic change of endings and unclear beginnings. Some of these endings may leave us feeling bruised, distraught or confused but I know there is better for us ahead come Mid next year. Astrology won't DO anything to us or even drop all this abundance into your laps. It's YOU that has to have the insight and the free will to want to make the changes.

That requires stillness within us to listen deeply to our inner soul voices.

To intuit the energy we feel when something feels aligned as a hard Yes or an uneasy yuk = No!!

To ground into Natures cycles and rhythms.

To write all that you want to release within yourself this Full Moon, Forgive yourself and others and then burn it under these Fire energies.

Like our Spring, keep planting the seeds of intentions and watering them by seeing them already come to fruition in your mind in the here and now!
